Bio: I grew up in Eastbourne – and I still love the seaside. I trained as a teacher and have a music degree – graduating in 1999. I worked in primary education first, then for West Sussex Music Service for 14 years before teaching at Oakwood where I now teach music full time. I love music, play piano, flute, ukulele, recorder and church organ as well as singing. I am married to James and have an 8 year old son. I love swimming and trained as a lifeguard in my first post! I am obsessed with crochet!

Fun fact about you: I secretly love building Lego! Oops…that’s not a secret anymore then!

What would your superpower be and why? Teleportation – so I can stay in bed longer in the mornings!


As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? A Trapeze Artist with the circus (no joke!)

If you could be invisible for the day, where would you go? The West End to see every show in the best seats!
